Not exactly new, but I might as well recommend a couple of fics which have been on my list for a while, and which I don't think I got from here.
First, The Sharp Edge of Dreams and its sequel Child of Fire. They're Labyrinth fics, and the first one looks fairly generic as such fics go, if in the better end of the quality range; fantasy romp, sidhe nobility, quasi-magical attraction, awakening magical power, various other less notable elements - nothing to really make it stand out. In the sequel, however, things fairly quickly start to become quite interesting.
Unfortunately updates are very slow indeed; IIRC there was something like a year and a half between the two most recent chapters, if not more, and it's been another two years plus since the last update. Still, there's quite a bit already written, and hope springs eternal.
Second, The Golden Power, the single best Legend of Zelda fanfic I've ever run across. It's written as a continuation of "Twilight Princess", but it eventually ties in at least nearly every single previous Link/Zelda/Ganon/Triforce game in the series, and quite possibly most of the ones not yet written as well - and the original (or, at least, non-fanfic) elements are good enough that I don't want to try to describe them.
Unfortunately, again, updates are slow, although not on the scale of "Child of Fire"; it's something more like one chapter every three to six months, if memory serves, and we're due for another anytime in the next three months if that schedule holds.
