I vaguely recall that I may have found it through these forums, but one original story I like is "100 Candles":
http://www.100.chaobell.net/main/?page_id=3
It's a variety of modern not-necessarily-urban fantasy, written in the first person, whose viewpoint character is gay - a fact which colors (or perhaps I should say, permeates) the entire work, and not IMO in a bad way. Saying too much more than that would spoil one aspect of it or another, but it's very good; unfortunately it hasn't been updated since (I think) February of '09, and even the blog which is that site doesn't seem to have had a post since January of this year.
FWIW, I don't recall its being explicit about the actual sex, but that's very definitely present - and there's enough standard (and, in a few cases, possibly nonstandard) "dirty language", from the narrative and from various characters, that I wouldn't look at this one at work.
