So who's celebrating the mononumeral day?

At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, it is traditional for those of us in the Commonwealth to observe a moment of silence for those who died in the Great War and the wars after that one. It's more a day of commemoration than of celebration here.

That said, I'm heading off to a birthday party in a few minutes...
