Postcript - The New Cat That Came In From The Rain And The Old Cat That Came Back

I got a text from my sister that they adopted a new cat. This one is young and looks like it was somebody's pet. It wondered into a friend's house from the rain. And since the friend is afraid of cats, they begged my sister to take him in, otherwise he'd be going to a shelter. Snickers managed to convince my brother-in-law to spare him from the shelter.
The fly in the ointment is that it looks like Ming decided to come back to the house....the text conversation with my sister went like this:
Me: U did tell him to go 2 the light, right?
Sister: No, I didn't since I was crying at the time, besides he was deaf, remember?
So now, my sister has 2 cats. One alive, and one who came back. Ah, well..I'm pretty sure the family will work something out.
