Here's one that might be of interest.

They're crowdsourcing a Veronica Mars movie on Kickstarter. It started yesterday, and made $1 million in about four and a half hours. As I type this, it just ticked over $2.7 million of its $2 million goal. With 29 days left to go yet...

Edit:  And may I just add -- if Kristen Bell's message to the Kickstarter community is any indication, the woman is a grade-A goofball of the type who would be warmly welcomed here at the DWForums.

Edit 2:  From the FAQ on the page, just for giggles:
• What if the movie doesn't end in the way I've believed it should end for the past six years?
Eek.
• Veronica better end up with Logan, Rob. She just better.

I hear you. Remember, it's noir. There aren't a lot of happy endings.
