As I recall, the "Poser 7" cutoff is on account of using materials built in the Shader Room, with math nodes and the like... or, basically, Advanced Poser Materials. The model should work, but you can expect to have to replace at least some of the original materials with DAZ-specific materials. This is part of why I built up a DAZ-specific material library that I could use anywhere, it made adapting models easier.
