I did not have a chance last night to investigate this further. I will note that the native movie player on the tablet had no problems with video or sound, had no jumps or skips or sync issues. It just didn't show subtitles. So it may not be a resolution issue. I will have to investigate the transcoding solution; it is not anything I have ever done before.
