Recently binged a webcomic called 'Star Trip' where in a young woman disillusioned with life in general rescues a shape-shifter. In return, it grants her request to take her to every inhabitable world in the known galaxy. It does not go as smoothly as some would hope...
Interesting idea, but somewhere along the way it undergoes a very startling art-shift where the main character goes from being an athletic looking young lady to looking like a young teen that's had just a tad too much junk food or not quite enough exercise. I'd have no issue with either character design, but to change it so radically and with little to no explanation for it...
Otherwise, it has pretty good 'coming of age' vibes to it where the main character must learn to behave in a manner befitting a civilized person (that is, understand first that she is the alien, and not everyone else around her).
