Regarding the colors, depending on when it was built as a prototype, I've seen SNES systems bearing the same combination of yellowed and unyellowed plastic, presumably because of slightly different formulations in the plastics.
If it's real, it's practically invaluable from a gaming history standpoint. I'd be curious if there's prototype game software alongside it.
