Cory Wells - known to most as one of the rock & roll singers of the group Three Dog Night - passed away in his sleep the other night, at the age of 74.
I had no idea until I got the news that he was, in fact, the same Cory Wells who was a fixture in the WNY boardgaming circles, and quite well known to several of my close friends in that group. I barely knew him myself, but I'd gamed with him on occasion, and have to say he was a good man.
He'll be missed by more than just music fans.
