Over on that Bare Squadron thing I refuse to shut decently up about, head writer Travolore has been doing side- and back-stories, including a series about Jace and Mera Pyso, parents to two of the main characters. Jace is a Republic soldier with battle-droid parts; Mera (née Ossa) is a not-so-dark Nightsister. In the third part of their epic romance, they return to her homeworld to hide from the Empire and prepare a place for Phara and Cal to come to one day:
