Hmmm....
Interesting idea: What if Kami-Tenchi has a hand in all this? Not that he caused it... but that it was an outcome in one of his many timelines that he permitted to occur? This could be great fodder for the overarching plot.
"No, I did not cause this. But I would be lying if I said that I didn't find the outcome to be desirable."
That can cause all kinds of screaming at the upper levels. Thoughts?
