Is there canon on what her parents do? Her father being an architect at the "designs corporate headquarters buildings" level could probably cover for that without being likely to impact anything plotwise. Well, perhaps aside from the design of Crystal Tokyo much later on.

E: The Tsukinos, I mean, AMi's mother is supposed to be a doctor and/or hospital administrator IIRC. Of course, it could just be pervasive fanon, given how little direct exposure I've had to any version of SM this century.
