I just completed the Miraheze annual survey.
For "Is there any reason you chose Miraheze over other wiki hosting farms?", I answered "No ads on the wiki pages." I'm not saying anybody else has to say that (and you shouldn't use my wording if you do), but if you're looking for an answer to that question, that's IMHO a pretty good one.
