My Understanding of AMG!Urd is that she is the personification of the Back up Archives of Both the Yggdrasil, and Nihogg(sp?) This explains why she is Half Demon/half Goddess.
Urd functionally has Eidetic Memory of point of view from both sides of "Reality from Point of Creation," and there are Discrepancies between the two that she has to rationalize.
