Local movie theatres in my area typically discount tickets a few dollars on Tuesdays, encouraging greater attendance those nights. Likewise a nearby radio station (WRIF in Detroit) has "Twofer Tuesdays, where they play 2 songs by the same artist in a row all day (another local station used to do 'Tripleshot Thursdays, 3 songs in a row, but discontinued it a few years back)
