I'm sure we can do something with this image, too... including discussing why Hayate is looking after Shamal's daughter.

Hmmm...  Feels more like an AU where Shamal is Hayate's daughter.

Besides, if it was actually Shamal's daughter, then who's the dad?  (Don't say it's Benjamin - he's got enough on his plate! )

And why should the self-inserts be the only ones to find romance?

Zafira with that smile seems kinda...  I dunno, a bit off?  We hardly ever see him smile.

The last image feels much more in-character for him.  Like he's going, "Not that I'm actually unhappy, but I wasn't expecting an entire liter of carbon copies of *you*..."
