The Geneva Conventions are there to protect the dignity and well-being of POWs.
There is no indignity in a POW voicing their anger and shame in how they were mislead by their military commanders and governing officials. If anything, making certain that their voices are heard should not be a crime at all. But if it helps, then by all means, let it proceed to the Hague so that the interpretation of the Convention can be fixed. It may even need to be revisited by all the signatories, because when it was originally written, they didn't have things like The Internet or Social Media.
