That's kind of the thing. I'm gonna have it that my character figures out a cheat. A way to get past the "barrier". (This is just an unfortunate side-effect from the way I was raised. I always had to figure out unconventional ways to get the things I wanted, and keep them hidden from my dad.)
Afterwards, Ben will make damn sure that particular secret doesn't get out, because just dealing with hundreds of different versions of himself was headache enough!
