It's the sort of story that would fit in here quite nicely: makes a single change to canon, explores the ramifications, doesn't coddle the bad guys, and contains a truly atrocious pun.
...a pun I kinda-sorta made years ago in my guide for fanfic authors. I wonder if mp3.1415player read it and took inspiration.
