It's possible to get too many alerts. Tornado warnings have been on and off and on again all afternoon (and one has touched down in southwest Ottawa)... and every time a storm front moves into another forecast area, Environment Canada sends out another alert.
At this rate, "the boy who cried wolf" effect is going to kick in.
