A Certain Mental Isekai has updated
For those unfamiliar, it's fanfic for A Certain Scientific Railgun, where Misaka's occasional social nemesis, the level-5 mind-controller Misaki was replaced (in childhood) with a SI who doesn't know the series.
By reputation, Misaki is the Queen of the largest and most powerful clique in Academy City's most prestigious middle school, one of the seven most powerful Espers in the world (and one of only two in that category who are considered safe to be allowed to be seen in the media). As one of the figureheads of the Scientific establishment, she is presumably elegant, powerful and brilliant. Certainly the adults of Academy City, particularly those in power, go to fantastic efforts to try to keep her from reading (much less controlling) their minds.
Of course then you meet her and it's apparently she's:
1. traumatised.
2. an introvert surrounded by extrovert oujo-samas.
3. theoretically recognises how a middle-schooler should look and think, but is rather erratic in her grasp of this in practical terms.
