So... funny story. Capsaicin, the active ingredient in most peppers? It triggers your body's high temperature detectors, that's why it's 'hot'. But that specific interaction is, IIRC, unique to mammals, birds and lizards do not have a capsaicin triggered response.

So Skalaza probably shouldn't even notice the burn.
