"The homework ate my dog" is likely a pretty common one in certain institutions, actually, if usually followed by something like "so the Guard had to slay and purify it with holy fire." Unless it ate the Guard too, of course, but depending on the severity of the Monster Rampage event classes may be cancelled, and/or extra grade points awarded.
