If it was a power song, with the repetition of "choose our destiny" bit and how the narrator never actually comes a cropper in the course of the song, it sounds more to me like probability control - like rolling d% and being able to designate the ones and tens dice after the fact, sort of thing. You can still roll double ones, enemies can still roll double nines, but there's a lot more wiggle room to make out with Disaster and slip out the window before papa Calamity comes home.
