At the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hawke makes the sacrifice play to save the world, only to find himself adrift in the multiverse, ending up a prisoner on a certain doomed Mind-flayer ship... Basically, the role of 'Tav' in Baldur's Gate will be played by an established veteran adventurer, who doesn't QUITE line up with the usual expectations of Toril.
