Katie floated into the lounge to see several Seeres sitting around, watching as Neph and Briar where doing something with their hands, floating over she rests on Neph's broad shoulders. "What are you doing?"
Neph looked back and smiled. "Teaching ASL... Well, the Australian version, I thought if I could give Briar a better way to communicate, maybe I can enrol her in school with Caroline and Alicia."
Watching their hand movement, the tanned part crystal girl copying Neph's, she gasped a thought. "You know... I could just copy and paste the info from your brain to hers, right?"
Neph shook her head. "As nice as that be, this feels better, learning rather than cramming." She turns and kisses Katie's cheek. "But thanks for the idea."
Katie floats over the back of the couch, dropping next to Neph and curling up. "Is it hard to teach?" She asked.
"Nah, it was harder for me to learn as a kid with my fucked up hands, but I got the hang of it."
Briar looks at them, them signs. [Hello mother's]
Neph blushed as Katie looked over. "What did she say?" The seer asked.
Coughing, the cyborg looked embarrassed. "Hello mother's."
Katie squealed in glee and hugged Neph. "I'm a mom! We are mom's!"
