I'm pretty sure that was supposed to mean "treat the fay like a jaded retail worker treats the public" mot "treat the fey like you're talking to a retail worker" as actually written... because being Super-Karen to the fey is an obvious-lose-lose times infinity plus one strategy , if nothing else, and directly counter to to basically all of dogbercarroll's Xander-insert character traits in general regardless of which story you're talking about.
