Seraph's house.
Laying in bed, Tish chewed her lip and looked at Seraph as he read a book. "Um... Seraph.... Is it bad we don't have a kid?" She asked.
He put a book mark in his novel and put it on the bedside table. "What do you mean? We have three daughters?"
Tish sighed. "Not what I meant, I mean a baby between you and me."
He rests a hand on her shoulder. "What brought this up?"
She took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "I was talking to some friends and they all have kids and one brough up biological clocks and I was thinking we have been together for eleven years, but we never had a kid..."
He pulls her onto his lap and strokes her back. "Do you want a kid?"
"Yes? No... Maybe? I don't know... I don't have the time to be out of work for nine months plus, but I kinda want one."
Seraph thinks. "Well, we live in an age of science, there are ways to have kids with out you being up the duff."
"Go on."
"Well, the most obvious is a surrogate, we find a woman we trust to carry our child to term... Then there is science, we can use gene splicing and grow them in a tube or finally magic, like Alicia."
Tish chews her lip. "I.... I need to think on this, but how do you know all this?"
He laughs. "Three daughters, all gay, so they need options if they want to give me grand kids."
She punched him. "I am not ready to be a granny, I'm still in my thirties."
"Just covering my bases."
She gave him another light punch. "But thanks hun, you have given me some things to think about..." She slides off his lap, stroking his cheek as she kisses him tenderly. "But now, after all this talk of making a baby..." She trails her fingers to the waist band of his boxers.
He smirked. "Woman you will kill me, as you wish."
