On the off-chance somebody here used to work for NOAA (or knows someone who did)... Environment and Climate Change Canada is hiring.
However, you have to live in Canada or be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Also, since you have to be in the office three days a week, you have to live in either Ottawa (for the IT jobs currently being advertised) or Montreal (for the Satellite Image Analyst jobs currently being advertised).
Of course, if you're good enough to have a positive reputation and you know somebody in ECCC, you might not need to go through a public hiring process. Job searches are as much "who you know" an "what you know", after all, and the government is no different.
