The fact that this one started Kirito out as stealthing away from SG-1 completely unnoticed really bugged me. I think it's more that Jack is the pre-defined Clueless Audience-Surrogate Straight Man who needs everything explained and sometimes jumps to conclusions. He filled that role for SG-1 and she's sort of buttonholed him in there for crossovers as well, without really thinking about the need for a contrast on the other side of the crossover. Compare his reaction to, for example, Daniel's automatic social-analysis mode as he observes the SAOvivors' behavior and starts trying to figure out their culture, rather than just making assumptions.
