Seraph just finished his coffee when he went to check on Sam, he put him down for a nap an hour ago, should still be napping.
Walking into the bedroom, his heart fell through his gut, Sam's crib was empty.
Okay, don't panic, he is a month old, he can't move on his own.
He ran into the lounge room and paused, seeing a familiar pirate hat poking over the back of the couch, he steps around and relaxes, a topless Tish breast feeding their son.
"Made me worry there Tish, what are you doing home early?" He says as he sits next to her.
"I wanted to see my little man, not like I have official work hours after all." She sighs and strokes the suckling child's head. "And someone missed his momma, not that I blame him, I am pretty awesome." She grins.
Seraph watches them with a smile, Tish looking over at him. "Come on, you seen me do this a dozen times." She lightly elbows him.
He chuckled. "Seen the sun set a hundred times, still as beautiful."
"Nerd."
"Your nerd."
They sat there in silence, till Sam was full, Tish gently burping him as the front door opened, Alicia coming in with Nelko, chattering up a storm. Tish frowned. "Sam, never get involved in time travel." She says, lightly tickling his belly. "It's a pain in the ass." She hands the baby off to Seraph as she pulls her corset back on.
