Yes, please post more photos!  I find it both amazing and fascinating to see what all these people I only knew from cartoons and anime look like "for real".  I mean, some look just like they were drawn (like Asuka), but most only vaguely resemble their animated or drawn counterparts.  I mean, when you know, then you can say "Yes, Yui is recognizably Yui from 'K-On!', and Ryoko can only be Ryoko from 'Tenchi Muyo!'", but there are still *big* differences which I guess you can lay at the feet of the art styles.  Like how the "Lucky Star" girls aren't toddler-looking moeblobs in real life, but are actually normally-proportioned, attractive teenage girls.

In any case we only arrived here in Refuge yesterday -- too late to meet anyone at Halloween or Christmas or even the Big Snowball War -- so these photo threads are my first chance to really *see* most of you, or even know that you're in this reality.  So say I'm fangirling, say I'm repressing whatever I should be feeling about our entire *universe* being in danger to the point that it picked us up and lobbed us all the way over here to keep us safe (and nobody knows why it picked my immediate family), say I should be a lot more laid back about everything, I just can't get over the fact that you're all just as real as *I* am!  I want to get to know all of you, even the ones I never heard of before!

EDIT:  Just to be fair, since I asked for more photos, here is one of us from before we were sent to this universe -- that's me on the left, my wife Irene on the right, and our daughter Mimi between us:

We've got *lots* of photos of ourselves!  There's a whole bunch from last fall which I haven't shared yet.  One of the first days we were living on the farm, Jaune just disappeared for most of the day.  We found him behind one of the outbuildings, taking apart a tractor.  So it turns out Jaune grew up around farm machinery, and he was curious how gasoline-powered engines worked compared to dust-powered ones.  He found one in a shed, and a box of tools, and just started taking it apart.  Everyone was surprised when he actually put the tractor engine back together so that it ran!



Around the same time, we made a couple shopping trips to get us everything we needed, not just to Lake Wobegon but also to Saint Cloud and even all the way to Minneapolis.  Here's Nora after the Minneapolis trip, decked out in some of the new clothes she bought there:



She wasn't the only one -- Coco came back with bags and bags of clothes (and I still don't think I've seen everything she bought).  This was the first outfit she showed off:



Fox didn't plan on modeling anything, but Eleanor got him to pose for her:



And she cornered Blake, too.  Not that Blake minded! 



I asked Blake why she still wears her bow even though everybody knows she's a faunus -- including all the thousands (millions?) of people who've seen "RWBY".  She says she's not ready to give it up yet. 

Now this next picture is actually a candid shot taken by one of the yearbook photographers at school.  After a little begging and pleading (and after I autographed a "RWBY" DVD), I got a copy, but not until after he ran it through something called a Photoshop filter.  (Apparently he wanted us to look more like we do in the show.  Weird.)



What I'm really annoyed at is that *nobody* thought to take any pictures when we drove to Darwin to see the Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota.  And after everything that happened when we got there, too!

And here's some from Ottawa. You've already met most of us, Maya, but nobody outside of Blossom Apartments has seen these yet. Rob-oji took them the day that we visited the Bytown Museum. These weren't taken at the museum; they're at the building next door, which you *might* just recognize. (And I still can't believe we got to visit without going through a security checkpoint. And Rob-oji told me there's a free yoga class on the front lawn every Wednesday in the summer! Can you believe that?)

First, Academy City's top Judgment field team and their volunteer auxiliary who happens to be a Level 5 esper. Mikoto, Kuroko, and my BFF Kazari, from left to right.



Next, everybody's favourite Sailor Senshi trio. In case you need to be told, Rei, Usagi, and Ami. (Yes, Ami *does* own clothes that aren't her uniform!)



Finally, yours truly and Minako.



No pictures of Makoto or Mii. For some reason, they think they aren't attractive enough to have their photo taken. (Are you kidding me, you two? Mako-chan, you're a Sailor Senshi! And Mii-sempai, you've got curves in the right places that the rest of us can only dream of having.) And no photo of Rob-oji, because he was the only one who brought a good camera.

Well, that's us. Where have *you* been in your new home towns? Pics or it didn't happen!
