Frankly, it's weird.
Given the complexity of a capture and extraction, even with what obviously was a significant amount of local collaboration, you would think that Trump of all people would have gone for a much easier assasination.
Either way, he's either forgotten or never learned that any act against a political leader that he authorizes as a political leader is an act that he's implicitly accepting can be used against him.
