Disregarded all advice and read the first few chapters at work today. I did, in fact, draw a few looks from my coworkers. Overall I really enjoy this kind of fic, the ones that remember that ostensibly SAO was supposed to be a video game and run with that premise to the absurd natural conclusions. It's got a real good and sometimes deeply morbid sense of humor, and I enjoyed the moments where NotAHero lets the audience remember how deeply messed up the whole situation is and how not-good these characters are doing. The jokes brought me in but chapter 3.1 really sold me on wanting to read the whole thing.
