"FIFA World Cup 2026 relocated out of US": tricky... but, according to what Perplexity, tells me just barely possible. It would be a scaled-dawn event, something akin to a Superb Owl event than a full-sized FIFA World Cup affair.
Canada currently has games scheduled in BMO Place in Toronto and BC Place in Vancouver. We could squeeze FIFA-sized games into Rogers Centre ("SkyDome!!") in Toronto, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, and (for risk-takers) the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.
Mexice currently has games scheduled in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Estadio BBVA in Monterrey, and Estadio Akron in Guadalajara, with Estadio Azteca being larger than all of the other stadiums listed here so they'd get the finals. They could squeeze FIFA-sized games into Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Estadio Olímpico Universitario in Mexico City. Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara, and Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla
Seven smaller stadiums replacing eleven larger stadiums. The Carribean can't help: their largest stadium, National Stadium in Kingston, Jamica, would need massive upgrades to even approach the capacity of Estadio Cuauhtémoc or Commonwealth Stadium.
"Freedom Pastries" lacks the alliterative appeal that "Freedom fries" had. "Freedom Flakies", maybe... no, wait: Flakies are Canadian. Never mind.
