For those wondering just where Ryouga really was in his photos:
Oh, and Nana's post is a reference to Canadian politics, which tends to be less extreme than American politics; many but not all politicians end up in the middle instead of to the left or right. Also, it isn't a very good joke, but at this point the Misaka Sisters are still learning what is and isn't funny.
Finally, although the navigation bars say there are at least a few more pages left in the thread, this will be the final installment of ''Greetings'' for the foreseeable future. It's been a lot of fun creating both the pictures and the stories around them, and amazingly lots of the stuff we just came up with on the spur of the moment has had a surprising and beneficial impact on the rest of the project. But it's also been a distraction from things like the Halloween story. So we're reluctantly putting Ruby's picture thread on the shelf for now. We may come back to it at some point, and it's not going to be the only photo thread from displacees.yggdrasil you'll ever see, but right now there are quite a few other stories that are impatiently waiting for us to work on them. Thanks for joining us on this experiment which succeeded beyond our wildest expectations.
- Obviously (to everyone but Kagura) the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
- The Supreme Court building in Washington, DC.
- The Luxor hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Surprise -- that really is London Bridge. It's just that it's in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, not London, England.
- Another surprise: Ryouga really is in Versailles in the last photo -- Versailles, Kentucky, though, not France (locally pronounced "ver-sale", which Ryouga heard as "for sale"). That's The Kentucky Castle, also known as Martin Castle, once someone's (never completed) fancy home but now a bed and breakfast and function space.
