The technical request... Yeah, simple edits leading to effects in sections of pages that weren't intended to be changed was normal, and we spent quite a bit of time fixing what the visual editor broke. Has the visual editor been fixed? I don't know. It seems to have been fixed on Wikipedia and Wikivoyage... but Mediawiki wikis get their good toys before they're released to everybody else. (Which is fair -- they develop the toys.) I'll let Doug know that we turned off VE after a vote by the Tropers, so it'll take a vote by the Tropers to undo that decision and he's welcome to draft his proposal. I might even vote in favour if it means getting Discussion Tools.
Seconding the deletion of the Topic namespace, since it's using up resources to no advantage. If anyone complains, send them my way.
