Maybe it was Hexe that gave Lisa the power listen in. I thought that also seemed a strong possibility.

I'll tell you this -- Hexe did in fact allow Lisa to listen in. She knew Lisa was on the roof, and knew from Doug's subconscious mind her role in Doug's life at that point. Hexe used her control over the air to "channel" the sound of their conversation up to Lisa -- and cut it off right before Doug used her True Name, which is something she wouldn't want Lisa to have.
