Janus is also -- as far as I can tell from what material I've read and some snickering cryptic comments by Beth "Archangel Beth" McCoy -- the Demon Prince of Theft Valefor (I think that's the name, it's been a while). The very name "Janus" is a big clue, but study the gifts and talents and whatnot their servants get -- they're identical.
