That depends on the source material... but I've been led to believe by folks who actually read ancient Greek that orichalcum is extremely close to ruddy-copper-coloured.
Ah, well... it would have been so nifty if it was. But I'm sure you've got something even niftier planned...
Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. Tin has a silver-like appearance. Could the new frame be made out of an alloy of orichalum and mithril?
