Given the events of DW5 that might not be much of a problem. IIRC Doug was told by the Fates themselves that so long as he keeps looking for a way home they'd make sure he'd not only find one but that he'd survive walking it. And then there is that tooth pick of his.

His defensive chaotic field and being a being of chaos would probably cause precogs to go cry in a corner with a headache.
