Dietary restrictions are somewhat like bathrooms, and somewhat not. They haven't gotten a lot of screen time, but that's not out of any particular aversion - it just doesn't happen to be what people have been focusing on. If you want to examine them a little closer, then there is certainly nothing that should stop you.
It is worth noting that influences on biochemistry (How much is cat? How much is human?) are likely to be as random and individual as any other aspect of biomods - another good reason to be running house calls.
