Then you'll probably want to treat the rest of the chip and most of the other hardware with a strain of handwavium that is good at speeding up things.
Does anybody have a problem with the Jason experimenting with strain creation? Biomodding is his best ability, he is a biologist and does well with all sorts of living organisms...and in a way, this is biomodding handwavium. I've even got an idea or two in my head where, in response to the Con, he tries for an actual weapons-grade handwavium strain. Nothing that would really break what we've already established; it would be more a refinement. It might help hand-to-hand weapons a bit (swords, anyone?), definitely help in shielding of all types, and for those people who have already figured out how to make improvised weapons with regular handwavium, allow them to strip their improvised weapons down to the bare basics. It's just...I have this scene in my head. Something that to me feels as powerful as the one ritual I did for the memory strain. And one that I can see what the result might look like. Let me know what you all think?
