Part of me wants to see a VF-4 go head to head with one of Frigga's choppers..... because that'd be a damn cool display of pyrotechnics and hyper maneuverability. But that's for another story. Or Convention. Even if the more natural opponent would be a Tie-fighter.
I've got most of their meeting worked out. Yes. This will go exactly as planned. Add in Shinji's motorcycle and a call-back to a well known scene in Episode 15. And Gina has a different viewpoint on things which helps Shinji along the way..... and leads into something I want to give to Jet, recalling something Mackie said. A scene with Gina, Rei and Shinji in a lift.
