Beware the Hell-Hole in Space

The base design is interesting (and I can't get the idea of the slime mold screaming "Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li!" out of my head) but I don't know about the placement. A cometary orbit like that isn't *that* advantageous for attacking Belt shipping. A better place would be the Jovian Trojan group asteroids - they're on the ecliptic, positioned better and one group (can't remember if it's leading or trailing off the top of my head) would positioned almost right between the Belt and Saturn during SOS-con and the first season.---
