Quote:Rule 5c could stand to be re-phrased slightly, before somebody asks "If 'entering or exiting atmosphere with a speed drive is a somewhat tricky process at relatively slow speed', then why not just do it at fast speed?"
I've revised the Rules above, mostly trying to get the language on Rule 1 clearer.
Other than that, they look good to me... (Yes, I know I said that about the last set, but that was before I started thinking about the ramifications of the last set of Rules.)
And the new Rule 1d(iv) allows those implosion rounds I came up with.
Quote:No objections here. That's probably how I would have phrased it, right now... but I'll admit I'm not at my best for writing, right now (which is why I'm kibitzing on the setting instead of writing more).
I also added the Genre Directive at the top. I'd like to think it's self-explanitory, but in short it's a brake intended for some of the nastier and more pessimistic imaginations that can crop up 'round these parts. I expect somebody will have... healthy objections to the language, so if you do sing out, dammit.
