Having spent most of my childhood summers in what southern-Ontario folks refer to as "Northern Ontario" (except that one year I actually did make it north of Sudbury and into the real Northern Ontario), I have to agree with you there.
Besides, we need some room for a "Forbidden Forest," even if it isn't near Hogwarts... 8)
