I'm not trying to shut you down here, just curious for an explanation. Handwavium can only go so far, after all. Of course, you could go the route I went
with the Magnificent Midnight and say that it was the spirit of the plane that became manifested as an AI since she remembers her time before being
waved. But the thing about that is that by that time Midnight was already pushing fifty years, if not more.
