Basically the Reaver Class Cat-girl is a Slave/Soldier Bio-mod Operation gone wrong.

The Operation Starts out Simply enough:

1. Capture a group victims (probably a bunch of young girls).
   
2. Put the victims into an automated Cat-Girling processor to produce computer controlled slaves/soldiers.
   
3. Use the produced soldiers to capture the next group of victims.
   
4. Repeat Steps 2, and 3 until a set population level is reached.
   

When a certain Population density is met the Operation is Split, and a captured ship is used to create a secondary operation.

Some where along the line,

• The Boskones capture the wrong set of victims (Didn't somebody lose a bunch of Kunoichi?), or some other excuse.
  
  
  
• The Cat-girls (in and Ironic sense of Justice) capture and process the Boskones.
